Rapture 33

Charting a course for freedom

When our life seems to be battling evil on every side and it seems we cannot find the word then we have to remember that God is still in control. Despite how bad it is on earth it isn't so bad in Heaven. Right now there is a great turn of tide and that means things are changing. Change in Heaven isn't of time but of tide.

To be tided with time is opposite of what God desires for us. We have been inside the belly of the soul which floundered and spit up Jonah. That means he was inside hell and the grave for three days and nights. He was the representative of Christ which went into those places before anyone else. It wasn't the desire of Jonah to find trouble but he did. Mainly because he failed to heed the warning of the Lord.

The warning of the Lord isn't meant to be obscure. It is meant to be strong and affirmative. For Jonah it was clear and he knew it. This was the hard path he chose. The path that was like unto going down a road barefoot and deliberately walking on glass to prove ourselves. It isn't wise and it isn't of God.

Yet some of us feel we have to make penance for the things we have done. And that isn't of writing but of time. Lets suppose I keep saying "I'm sorry." I say it when I think I feel guilty. Lets suppose that is a spirit which is called evil or sin. Lets say that is the power of the law and the part of the law which is the sting of it. I take the law and I use it to cry out "I'm sorry" and God hears and thinks "For what?"

After all we are just sitting there in prayer. And it is sin who puts the feeling of guilt into our heart. But lets suppose that we are influenced by evil not in the nature of love but in the nature of word. How do you divide the truth? How did Paul do it? After all he had been a man who had helped to kill Christians. He had gone into evil in a big way all because of that spirit of evil we call sin.

To answer that wouldn't be in one word but more in two. Trust and believe. And those two major words would be the complete fulfillment of all things. In all things trust and in all things believe. One is an act and the other is completion. So in the act there is movement and that is trust. Trust carries us towards the heart of God. Believe carries us to the heart of life.

So in those two words we are carried from life to life and back again.

So how then do we as Christians find relief or belief or even believe that we are in the first step of the catching up of the saint? To answer that isn't meant to be of disbelief but of tide.

Tide is the practice of an ocean going ship and the Captain who waits for the tide to turn. When the tide has turned he feels it in his sole and in his ship and the way it moves. It is the tide and it is the carry on luggage sign which states "We are moving and we are ready to go."

The only thing that is required isn't time but love or life. For if love is to survive it has to have time to love. So if time is to be done away with that must be the evil nature of time because time must continue to see. In this is a mystery of a future yet to come. God desires us to have time. Read things related to time and you will see God approves of time with Him. And that is time with his heart for us. Time of a father to a son and a son to a father. Time of life and time of joy.

So in this chapter remember this; God is setting time towards the tide. It is his compass and his path towards us who are on earth. It means that the compass of time isn't the answer but the chart of tide. It shows the Captain of the ship where the reef is and it keeps him abreast of it. Otherwise the Captain of the ship has to reverse course and take the ship around the chart to the other side. And if He knows the chart well he can succeed but we then have to wait. And waiting is difficult. So spend time with life and love God with time. Give him time and he will grant to you the desires of your heart. And if you do spend time with him remember that it is okay to rest and to sleep. In those things the Captain of the ship avoids the sudden storms which beset the crew with misery because of the passengers who are unhappy. And in that is truth to all and to all a good night.
