Rapture 39

Those are fighting words

February 10, 2007

1Corinthians 15:7 After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.

What do we do with knowledge. If knowledge came to us would we turn around and walk away? We have this desire to know Jesus. And we have a desire to faint not. That is old James and he was the one king who wanted it written in his language. Today we would say not faint but then it was faint not.

We are tired people and we rush from place to place and yet a surprising number of us seek knowledge. Knowledge is the key to what is coming but how do you get knowledge out? If you don't have a normal voice you forget what it is to converse. And faint becomes not faint instead of faint not. And the difference isn't big its just enough for us to turn away.

That might sound strange but lets imagine God is trying to learn English. The last time He had a chance to share the word was back in James time. And that was King. And he was the one who had the Bible put together so that it was truly Biblical.

Today we have it as it was meant to be. Yet we have it in ancient English. And suppose you try to teach that to people. They would laugh. Now I'm not saying its time for a new version. The latest hit is the Pilgrim Bible from the same period of time. And it also has the tee's and tows. Or thee's and thou's.

Now the one thing we need is help because we are in an age of many thou's and that that last is a play on words.

Many of us have words from the Lord. All of us long for a sign from God. We want God to help us and we want God to aid us. Yet we don't want to hurt and that is part of the reason why we ask. We seek God and God helps us. And we turn to him. And yet when Jesus came out of the tomb there were hundreds who saw him. And if there were as many as 500 who saw him then he was well known. Having a circle of 500 who know you means there were those who had been with Jesus.

How about today? We have tens of thousands who have visions and have dreams and have words of prophecy or vision or some form. Not just from God but the Holy Spirit and from Jesus. And yet some of us just write. I get dreams but I don't have a lot of answers as to my own life. I seek answers but I don't push.

And that is why this story is being held up because it is not meant to be just of others.

The fact is we are just one man among thousands of people and they all hear from God. Yet why can't God tell someone to help us and our family?

The answer is simple. Most of us want a personal word. We have asked God for wisdom and knowledge and understanding but we keep forgetting. And I understand that. I am tried of war and of warfare. I got into it because I saw I was in it up to my knees. I didn't know then what I know now. War is hell and those of hell carry it up to men. And we fight because we are not given a choice.

Still it is not just the war I fight but also for help. And help is all I can have or do or think. I try and try and try and try to find ways to overcome with God so man can have a hopeful ending. I don't want to see war come and destroy. Man doesn't care about things until they are gone. I care now and if that is selfish then what do you want? A war to destroy your home? Your family? Your town, city, village, county? Or will you be happy when the enemy has taken over the entire country?

I am fighting now because I've found a secret to war and that it is preventable if we fight. And it is preventable by spiritual war and it is a war I can bearly handle. God has to heal me each day and I mean each day because I go into it with desire and that is the only way to win.

So now what do I do with war? I hate it and I despise it. I wish it had never been conceived. Yet it is the Lord who has hands to war. It is the Lord who will deliver. It is the Lord who will fight. And that is the Lord who will set free.

The final word for this is to fight with word. Let it be heard. Let it be lifted. Let it be common. Fight with love. Let it be with joy. Let it be with hope. Let it be with life. And finally let it be.
