On the way to change in the world
The word of God is providence. Providence is good and fortune. All those who love God will find themselves blessed. Those who hate God will find they have nothing. The wicked will be changed but not until they have nothing. Then they will cry out for help. None of them will have the ability to steal or to take. They will cry out for help. And in that place there will be life.
The world as we know it is on the way to change. Some have said that but I say it as a way of knowledge. Lets put it into perspective. Change is coming to men and those who are ready will change. Those who do not will not change. Those who want to change will change. And those who are ready for it will change. So if you want change you are on the way. If you don’t want change then you will remain the way you are.
Some say they are content and they may well be. But even those who need contentment need change. Contentment is good and valuable but lets say change is that which makes things better. Then change is good.
Change is like interesting times. If the Chinese say it then it must be wise. Only they too will see change. Now change comes to China but people make those changes. This change is of God and God changes things.
God changes one thing at a time. Men change things everywhere and expect everyone to abide. That is called law. Laws made by God make individual changes. True they are universal but they are not meant to be taken universally. A man might hurt his neighbor and people are horrified. Only the neighbor came over to hurt him and then people are mollified. It is all in how you put it. And it is how you act.
Now the act of a wise man is one of faith. God takes that which seems simple but is wise. If men want change they must ask. If I want change I must wait. I have sought God for change and God knows that waiting is the key to making me sit still. It isn’t easy because I want something called help for me and the family. There are others I want help for but when God does one thing he knows it has a butterfly affect. A butterfly in Guatemala really can change the weather in America. But only if the butterfly is big and bright. And then the people here are cheered up by such a pretty sight.
Now a butterfly isn’t a bird and birds go for the prettiest butterflies. So lets say God wants men to know that butterflies are pests if they overgrow. So catching a butterfly does not change the eco system. There are millions of butterflies. And they all will die in a day or a week or even a month. But at the end of the month they are battle veterans and growing wise. And that is why they die because they have wore out their wings in rising upon the wind.
So why give wisdom to a butterfly? It is like knowledge only it grows with use. And so a man who likes flowers may pick one but if he wishes to grow them wait for the seed. Don’t take what God has planted in the wilderness unless there are many. And that means leave the wild ones and plant the tame ones to sell.
As far as wilderness? If there are a million trees and they appear to be crowding out the light then take all the little ones and leave only the biggest. You will find nature culls and cuts them down eventually. And that means if you wish lumber then grow it from seed and plan for a harvest. And if a fire should come through and destroy it then try again. Plant all around and don’t give up when men say it is foolish. Tell them in time it will make sense. And it will.
Now which changes nature first? Is it man or is it God? The answer is God. God takes the nature of what men desire and changes it to their wish. It may not be apparent but it does become apparent.
Now lets think of Smoky Mountain in the Philippines. It is filled with garbage and people live on it and live off the proceeds of men. Men throw out garbage and those who find it first are the garbage men. They grow excited by it. They find treasure and they know it is treasure. They find shoes that I threw out because they were old and had a big hole in the toe. They were not valuable and I paid little. Yet I heard through the grapevine that someone had found them and was very excited. For they were big shoes and big shoes are rare in the Philippines. A difficult thing for someone like me. For I am even bigger then I was. So if I return I had better bring everything with me.
Now time is the carrier of life and time is of God. God isn’t afraid of life. He isn’t afraid of what is coming. He knows that what is coming is of life. If Smoky Mountain is to change for the better it will be because people want it to change. Our idea in America is to take away the garbage and bury it. Yet if people live nearby they complain because of toxic smoke. Or they yell because people are taking garbage away. In a way we have forgotten that people want garbage. And God wants people to have access to it. And so instead of throwing it away why not recycle it? Why crush it with garbage cans? Why not hire small trucks to go around and take what is at the curb? People of the house hire men and carry it to the curb and put up “take away for free” and before you know it people come and take it away. And you watch from inside and laugh. And that is because its free garbage. And if you knew the heart of women and men you’d find a sign that said “Show me the garbage” and that is the part where we go and look.
Now some don’t want that. They are bitter and angry and they don’t collect anything. Or if they do they want it for themselves.
Now the future isn’t all garbage. Some things will remain. And some things will return. As in people. People will be center stage. And that means I might have access to garbage but I’ll probably have to settle for the garage sale. And convince people to sell their garbage by giving it to others. And those people who big garage sales. That way all the garbage will be dealt with. And what gets thrown away is often the most valuable but sometimes its okay to throw out things. Though I suppose if the family of Abraham Lincoln said that after he died they didn’t see history in his life. Just sorrow. And so most letters and most things he wrote others would be tossed out. That was their choice but it threw out the nature of the person. And that wasn’t right. So if there was a way to restore such things I don’t have a problem with it.
